This post gets more hits than you would believe!
Well, judging by how many emails I get everyday from Nigeria inviting me to share in an inheritance of 50 million dollars, I guess I shoulda expected it
Is this guy real? Joseph Madadi? Or is it some sort of internet scam?
I don’t think it’s legit.
Yes, Joseph is legit. I have been working with him for three years in Nakuru Kenya. I met him through
a mutual friend. His church was meeting in the dry dust with some plastic chairs and by God’s grace
this
year we have a small piece of property and a tin church the men put up themselves. It is our prayer and
desire to have a small orphan ministry beside the church in an old house we rent. So far we have not
been able to meet the needs and funds to further our goal. God will provide according to His will and plan. I and a small house church have been helping Joseph and the church for several
years and have built up a relationship of trust and accountability. My prayer is that they will keep it simple, by faith, seeking to only build God’s kingdom and not a “ministry” as most do these days. I hate the prosperity teachings and will not be involved with any ministry that presumes to think they are God’s anointed here to be increased by the Body of Christ in wealth and public attention. God’s heart is for the poor in Christ, orphans and widows. I know that Joseph has this heart as well. It is too bad that so many have perverted the name of Christ for scamming ministries and in Africa this is at an all time high. Prayer and discernment is needed. However, as Joseph and I have discussed we must build upon God’s pattern, not mans. I don’t believe in public solicitation, internet websites that solicit money, big name evangelists and their ways, programs, fleecing the flock, stealing from the poor in Christ to prosper yourself etc…..I am sorry that anyone would misunderstand Joseph’s online request for a music missionary. However, it is to be expected in an apostate church environment. God bless, Dr. Linda Sio.
P.S.
If you want to build God’s Kingdom, do it on your knees. God is able to provide more than
we can even think to do. Faith, prayer.
